Our Story!

A little bit about us – Sparky (Hubby) is a retired baker (25+ years’ experience) and I come from a long line of people who love to cook. We started this project as a way for us to continue to give back to our community when we retired. Every family has been touched by mental illness and addictions in some way – ours included – and we want to support where we can, therefore, the proceeds of our sales are given to our local homeless shelters and recovery houses.

Feeding people is something that we love to do! We prepare our food as if you were coming to our home for a meal. It may not be “exactly” the same as the last time but, it will be close! I tend not to measure much and may substitute an ingredient or two if I don’t have something specific in the cupboard. The food will be made with the freshest ingredients - closest to organic that we can find and locally sourced if possible. We also grow our own tomatoes and oregano – which we use in our lasagna and pizza pocket sauces.

If there is anything that you would like us to make and you don’t see on the site – let us know – we can work with you. So, if you want a different cheese in your jalapeno and cheddar bagels, you want to try olive bread, or you want a family-sized lasagna - just ask! We’d be happy to get that going for you! The baked goods are made fresh – never frozen and the meals are made to order then frozen for your convenience.

Our food is made with the utmost care – we are as careful as we can possibly be and abide by all Food Safe measures – but, they definitely include gluten and dairy products and may contain nuts or soy.

If you’ve ordered from us and are happy with the product (or not) or have any suggestions or comments, please let us know – this is how we get better and we would love to hear your feedback.  Please feel free to pass our info along to your friends and family!

Thanks for your support and thank you for helping us help others!
